maintenanceMaintenance & Repairs
Today’s systems are more complicated than they once were. Whatever brand system you have, it’s important to keep it maintained and in good repair. Our skilled, qualified technicians can perform tune-ups and repairs on all brands of heating and cooling equipment.

Maintenance
The most basic maintenance is changing the air filter. Depending upon the filter you use, it should be changed every one to three months. Check the filter’s packaging for guidelines. If you have children or pets, you may want to replace the filter more often than the manufacturer recommends.

All other maintenance requires a professional. Manufacturers recommend routine maintenance to ensure your system stays in top operating condition. The industry standard for maintenance is every six months.

Regular maintenance can:

  • Prevent breakdowns
  • Prolong the life your equipment
  • Keep the system running efficiently to use less energy
  • Ensure your system’s warranty coverage remains in force

Regular maintenance can detect problems early so they can be repaired before they become larger, more expensive problems.

Maintenance visits include:

  • Lubrication of moving parts
  • Cleaning of system components
  • Diagnostic testing on components

The easiest way to make sure your system is serviced regularly is with our Preferred Customer Service Agreement, which provides semi-annual maintenance, discounts and priority service. We’ll even call you to schedule your tune-ups.

Breakdowns happen, even in well-maintained equipment. Because there is never a convenient time for a system breakdown, we provide repair service all day, every day.

Should your system develop a problem or stop operating, call our office at 931-645-2859 for an appointment. Regular repair appointments are scheduled for either the morning (8:00–12:00) or afternoon (12:00–4:00). For your convenience, we’ll call you when we are on our way. Emergency service is always available.

Our repair technicians will:

  • Inspect the system
  • Diagnose the problem
  • Tell you what repairs are needed
  • Prepare an upfront repair price for you to approve or decline

Most repairs can be made the same day, and all of our repairs come with a one-year warranty.

A $59 Diagnostic Fee covers the costs associated with sending a professional to your house during normal business hours to share expertise and provide solutions. An overtime fee will be charged for after-hours repair visits unless you own a Preferred Customer Service Agreement. PCSA members receive a 15% discount on all repairs and never pay an overtime charge.

If it turns out your system needs replacement, our Comfort Consultant can meet with you to measure and evaluate your home and design a system for your needs.
